The story behind it
For sale is a first-generation Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, made in the USA (Corona, California). This amp comes from the first series of the Hot Rod line and remains one of the most popular 40-watt all-tube combos ever made.
The Hot Rod Deluxe delivers the classic Fender clean sound: plenty of headroom, sparkling highs, warm mids and a dynamic playing feel. Thanks to the Drive and More Drive channels, it can also do powerful crunch and lead tones. The built-in spring reverb and the series effects loop make it an excellent pedal platform for almost any genre – from blues and country to rock and indie.

The amp is in very well-kept condition. The Tolex, grille cloth and controls are clean and show only normal age-related signs of use (see photos).
