The record
A multi-talented artist whose parents are of Senegalese, Gambian and Malian heritage, and hailing from a suburb of Paris, Gadiaga has been making waves in the British music industry since moving to London at 18.
With her fresh and unique style, which marries the tradition of old school Jazz from musicians such as Betty Carter and Wayne Shorter, to the raw, earthy modern sound of artists like D'Angelo, Stevie Wonder and Twinkie Clark, Gadiaga's ambitions and revitalising approach has already earned her early critical acclaim and enthusiastic fans.
Having performed at prestigious festivals including We Out Here, Cheltenham Jazz Festival and the London Jazz Festival, Gadiaga has already received radio support from Jazz FM, interviews on BBC Radio, and has been handpicked as “one to watch” by Jamz Supernova.
